These black combat trousers remain hugely popular because of their suitability for a range of applications. As one of the toughest army trousers on the market, these Black BDUs are in heavy demand from people who want practical workwear and value the carrying capacity that the six pockets afford as well as the hardwearing nature of ripstop fabric. Also popular with hill walkers, these trousers are highly breatheable given the cotton element in the fabric. The superior weight to strength ratio of the ripstop fabric makes these trousers relatively light for their toughness and so hikers can push these trousers to the limits with confidence.
We only sell the Ripstop variant of the BDU since our customers ask a lot from their trousers and demand a fabric which includes the ripstop cross-hatching reinforcing technique which makes the fabric very resistant to ripping and tearing. In the unlikely event that the wearer does tear the trousers, the use of ripstop fabric ensures that small tears and rips cannot easily spread further.
